The Unbroken Sky‘s World Premiere will be October 12, 8:30pm, at the legendary Roxie Theatre in the heart of San Francisco’s vibrant Mission District! We’re kicking off the San Francisco Short Film Festival’s Opening Night as part of the “Bay Area Talents” program of shorts. Special guests in attendance! Get your tickets right away here.

Breaking Through to The Unbroken Sky
It was always a given that we’d have to do name change – there are too many other “Breaking Through” movies, books, etc. Finally, here’s the new title…THE UNBROKEN SKY
We Broke Through
That’s a wrap on a miraculous week filming Breaking Through – The Movie! It was a thrill collaborating with the absolutely brilliant cinematographer Ingrid Sanchez and her great crew as she painted with light and lenses to showcase powerful performances by our gifted actors, Ricardo González, Edgar de Santiago, Luis Fernandez-Gil and Julia Arteaga, all of us honored to be bringing the life of Francisco Jiménez to the screen. Now, on to post-production and beyond!
Breaking Through
It’s official – I’m on board to adapt and direct Breaking Through, a short film based on the beloved memoir by Dr. Francisco Jiménez, produced by my longtime compadres Normandie Ramirez and Robin Mortarotti. What an honor and thrill to be embarking on this journey with Dr. Jiménez and this wonderful team! I’m very grateful. ¡Adelante!
