Cellist Joan Jeanrenaud (composer) was a founding member of the legendary Kronos Quartet, with whom she made more than 30 recordings and thousands of performances around the world working with hundreds of composers and contemporary artists. In 1999, she struck out on her own own to pursue new directions as a soloist and composer.
